Nhat Quang Tran
Award winning freelance commercial VFX Supervisor with over 22 years of industry experience. Combining strong creative and technological understanding, his career brought him in touch with some of the most talented directors in the industry, the world’s biggest brands and the most creative production companies and agencies.
Born as the first son to Vietnamese immigrants in West Berlin led by his parents example for working hard, Nhat went on to receive his diploma from the renowned elite university, The German Film School in 2004.
Coming from a Feature background, he found his craft in commercials in 2010 at Europe’s post-production powerhouse nhb as a production vfx supervisor. In 2017 he operated as head of nhb’s Berlin studio prior becoming a freelance VFX Supervisor in 2019. This brought him to highly acclaimed studios The Mill London and Berlin, Spellwork and Storz + Escherich.
Nhat moved to Los Angeles, USA in October 2021 and became a VFX Supervisor on staff at The Mill Los Angeles.
